With the publication of our 2025 Annual Report, we look back on a year that redefined what ALPS is - and forward to what it is becoming.
The theme is clear: The Industrial Scale Era. In 2025, ALPS crossed the threshold from a fast-growing Bitcoin miner into a fully integrated global infrastructure company. The numbers tell part of the story: hashrate grew 500% year-on-year, and we sourced 41,000 mining units across our facilities. But the numbers alone do not capture the depth of the transformation.
Operations. Our flagship site in Oman - the Green Data City project - scaled from 10 MW to 150 MW over the course of 2025, cementing ALPS as the largest Bitcoin mining operator in the country. Our Iowa facilities, developed in partnership with Simple Mining and powered predominantly by wind energy, continued to demonstrate that sustainable, grid-responsive mining is not a marketing claim but an operational reality.
Finance & Procurement. Sourcing 41,000 mining units in a single year required the kind of supply chain discipline and financial coordination that only comes with institutional-grade backing. With over 387 MW of Power Purchase Agreements in place across Oman, South America, and the United States, ALPS enters 2026 with a clear runway for continued expansion.
Rebranding & New Era. In October 2025, the company completed its rebranding from Alps Blockchain to ALPS - a name that reflects the company's evolution from a Bitcoin-native operator to a builder of next-generation data centre infrastructure capable of hosting any high-density compute workload. Before AI, you need infrastructure. In 2025, we laid the groundwork.
R&D and Efficiency. During 2025 ALPS formalised strategic collaborations with Bitmain, CESI Group, and KEMA Labs - partnerships focused on hardware optimisation and research into grid stability. These relationships position ALPS not just as an operator, but as an active contributor to the technical evolution of the industry.
Global Network. ALPS was present at key industry events including Bitcoin 2025 Las Vegas, Bitcare Forum, Bolzano Slush'd, Euronext, Plan B Forum, and Bitcoin MENA - reinforcing its standing as a globally recognised infrastructure player.
Expansion Potential. Through existing contracts, ALPS has the infrastructure and agreements to expand to up to 60 MW in the United States, up to 127 MW in South America, and up to 200 MW in Oman - a total pipeline that positions the company for significant further growth.
The Forward Look. 2026 will be defined by two priorities: site expansion at every existing location, and the first concrete steps into HPC for AI workloads. The infrastructure is ready. The team is ready. The next chapter has already begun.
